It is a core value for WellSpring Community Church that we recognize and support other ministries locally, nationally and globally. It is important that we be part of something greater than just ourselves and our own activities. We are part of God’s Kingdom throughout the world. Partner Ministries and Missions Organizations
Open Arms Mission is a local ministry dedicated to meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the marginalized and poor. We support them financially and with involvement in serving one of their Saturday meals. Click on the logo above to go to their website. Mission Statement Open Arms Mission is called to demonstrate God’s love, peace and justice to those living in economical, social and spiritual poverty in the Welland area. As a not-for-profit Christian faith organization, we acknowledge that every person is created in the image of God and has inherent value and dignity. We assist as many people as possible to experience full participation in society.
Elisha House is a local ministry dedicated to helping women in crisis pregnancy and provide Biblical counselling to families. We support them financially on a monthly basis. Mission Statement “To practice the work and present the person of Jesus Christ according to the Bible by providing: assistance for the physical, social, spiritual and mental needs of women, men and families who are challenged by crisis pregnancy and Biblical Counselling for those who are actively seeking God for the redirection of their lives.”
CFCM is a national ministry organization that provides fellowship, accountability, and governmental registration for performing weddings. They are similar to a denomination but provide greater autonomy to the local church. CFCM is about connecting ministers and churches across Canada to see people’s lives transformed through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Their message is that we can work together to reach our nation and beyond for the Kingdom of God. WellSpring Community Church is a member of CFCM. Pastoral staff are licensed/ordained with CFCM as well. We support them financially on a monthly basis, providing us with a sense of National teamwork to reach Canada with the good news of Jesus Christ. Website: cfcm.org
Keystone Victoria is a local church in Victoria, BC. They are an amalgamation of two churches, one a newer plant and the other, a long established church. We believing in investing in a local church other than our own as partners in reaching people in another community in Canada. Marc Brule has had a long-term relationship with David & Jeanne McGrew, the pastors of Keystone and have an established trust. We support them financially on a monthly basis. ERDO Child Care Plus is a humanitarian agency of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Mission Statement “To provide compassionate, practical assistance to strengthen people and communities in developing countries through the four areas of: crisis response, food assistance, child sponsorship and community development. ” We sponsor a child with ERDO, providing monthly support. Global Harvest Ministries is a ministry to the people of North Africa, primarily Uganda, Sudan and South Sudan. Mark Davy is an evangelist that travels there regularly, proclaiming the news of Jesus Christ to a primarily Muslim population. He also trains and equips pastors for indigenous ministry. Intercede International is an organization that supports indigenous ministries worldwide. We specifically support Silas and Winnie Owiti from Kenya. Silas is an archbishop and oversees approximately 1,100 churches in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. Winnie oversees Ebenezer Life Centre, an orphanage that often takes care of AIDS babies. Life Outreach International is a sub-ministry of Life Today Ministries, of which James Robison is the founder. LIFE Outreach works with mission partners all over the world to share the Good News of Christ’s life and spread love to the lost and the hurting. We support them financially on a monthly basis. Victory Churches International is a network of churches and church plants throughout the world. We specific support Dr. & Mrs. Jeyaseelan, leaders of Victory Church of India. “Victory Churches of India is a movement consisting of many Churches in different parts of India. It is a vibrant group of people from varied backgrounds. Young and old join together to study the Word of God and to reach out to their community with the love of God. This enthusiastic family wants to help you realize your potential for life, love, success and happiness with God. We strive to be a source of strength, encouragement and blessing to many people in different walks of life. Our Motto is ‘Love God. “We partner with our supporters in Canada and with local organizations (usually churches) abroad to provide compassionate and cost-effective assistance to anyone who needs it, regardless of religion, race, gender or socio-economic standing. ” – from their website We are involved with Samaritan’s Purse in two specific ways. 1) Operation Christmas Child – we are involved in collecting and sending Christmas gift boxes to underprivileged children worldwide. We are also the regional collection depot, collecting Christmas boxes from the various churches, schools and organizations in the Niagara Area 2) Turn on the Tap – we do an annual walk-a-thon to raise funds to provide water filtration systems to those who lack access to clean water.
